Probus: separate the attacking portion

Theria lists his base skill as siege attack and HP +65%, defense +50%, while leading the army. Both Theria and Empire Build Academy list +35% attacking siege attack at the fifth red star and +65% attacking siege attack in the maximum final Specialty.

Editorial arithmetic: those two attacking additions total 100 percentage points. Do not carry them into a reinforcement or wall comparison. This is a difference in listed buffs, not 100% more damage, and the ascension part does not apply to an assistant.

The guides disagree on whether the final Specialty’s defense and HP bonuses are also attack-only, and on one Covenant entry. We exclude those disputed values from a universal total. Check the exact current skill text and role-specific report before committing. The spreadsheet has been denied permission to settle the argument.

Matsunaga: reinforcement is the condition

The LiveOps specialist guide dated 2026-08-09 lists reinforcing ranged attack +40% at the third red star, +60% at the fifth, and +55% in the maximum final Specialty. Those selected additions total 155 percentage points for a main general reinforcing; they are not an attacking-march bonus or a damage multiplier.

For an assistant, exclude the two ascension additions. The +55% Specialty still requires reinforcement. This compares role restrictions, not siege troops against ranged troops or a universal best general.

Verify the actual pair

Official assistant rules exclude ascension and equipment attributes and disable conflicting skills. Player discussions report different Probus pairings; they are leads, not controlled compatibility tests. Inspect the active skills with your intended main, assistant and books before spending. Compare reports with troop tiers, numbers, gear and opponent held as steady as practical.

Availability is a separate question

The official Wine Festival notice was published 2026-09-27 for a planned 2026-09-25 start. It names Probus and a guarantee within each 6 summons in Historic General Summoning. That is not a price, a guarantee in every pool, or proof the event is open today. Confirm your server’s timer, pool, counter and package cost; no purchase recommendation is made.
